Most California Voters Concerned About Health Care, Would Have Supported Governor’s Overhaul Plan, Poll Finds

More than half of California voters are worried about the state's health care system and nearly three-quarters said they would have approved a health system overhaul proposed by Gov. Number Of Uninsured U.S. Residents Projected To Rise By 1.1M For Each Percentage Point Increase In Unemployment Rate, Could Strain Public Programs

CDC, Verizon, University Of Georgia Launch Cell Phone Initiative That Aims To Increase HIV Testing Among Youth

World Bank Approves $10M Grant To Rwanda For HIV/AIDS Efforts

The World Bank recently approved a $10 million grant for Rwanda to help the country's HIV/AIDS efforts, the New Times/AllAfrica.com reports. According to a World Bank release, the funding is in addition to an initial grant of $30.5 million, which was allocated two years ago.

Largest Methamphetamine Lab Ever Discovered In Canada

A huge methamphetamine laboratory (crystal meth lab) has been discovered by police in the Toronto and Peel region, Canada. Authorities say it is the largest crystal meth lab ever to be discovered in Canada. The lab is located at Unit 13 of 1645 Sismet, in the west Toronto suburb of Mississauga, Ontario, in an industrial area near Pearson International Airport.
